“Mosaics of Cultural Brokering in Boulder County”

Philanthropiece is proud to present, in collaboration with the Boulder County Commissioners, Office of Resilience and Recovery and its Cultural Brokers Resilience Program the focus group findings at our barn office! The event will be a presentation of promising practices for the recruitment, retention and rewarding of Latinx Cultural Brokers in Boulder County after surveying our local community through focus groups. About 50 participants from the cities of Boulder, Lafayette and Longmont shared their work experiences and suggestions for developing promising practices in the workplace and community. Their participation allowed us to document their immense and important work in areas of government, community organizations, private companies and work as community leaders. These are important direct responses from the community we serve, we live and share with. This is why we think it is important to listen attentively  with an open heart and an open mind to the findings. We warmly invite you to our next meeting “Mosaics of Cultural Brokers in Boulder County”; where Guillermo Estrada-Rivera will present a community crafted definition of cultural brokers and their preferred practices for recruitment, retention and rewarding.
