Dia de los Muertos

Philanthropiece supports unifying events that highlight the live culture we have in our diverse local community. We support by showing-up, celebrating among neighbors, sponsoring when needed and promoting local projects like this that bring people together. Philanthropiece is excited to have begun a new relationship with City of Lafayette’s Collective Community Arts Center since the collaboration to bring you Colectivo Cultura’s 1st Friday event that happened in October and is looking forward to attend this 1st Friday in November. We hope to see you there!

Viva Arts/ Dia de los Muertos Closing Reception Join us for our closing celebration! Lively traditional dance by El Latir de Mexico Folklorico and Mayan dance by Balam Na. Enjoy the bright costumes and energetic dancing of these local troupes, which celebrates Mexican and Mayan heritage. Dancers will several times throughout the evening. Free and open to the public.
